This
temporary, site-specific installation was created over a period of
three months while I was in residence at the Bemis
Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha,
NE.
Most
of the
paper and cardboard used in the work was recycled from the Center's
office and pieced together with hot glue, thread and staples. The
top four photographs are overviews from each corner of the room and
the remaining images are details. Viewers were asked to
remove their shoes and walk through the installation along
the paper lined paths. One could also walk around the perimeter of
the piece, with or without shoes.
