During the construction of Nature to Structure, I was fortunate to have assistance from other artists, friends, and even my father. Materials were gathered and donated by Lowell residents and the piece became a small-scale downtown barn-raising.

All of the scraps that accumulated while creating this piece were set aside for visitors to use in creating their own piece of art. Small scraps of wisdom collected on all the empty sills and shelves in the structure. Upon de-installation, these community made pieces will be incorporated into a future project...
